   Buy seeds and sell plants, flowers, vegetables etc. You can even go one step further and sell the seeds you get from the plants you grew.

   Are you good at writing or do you know a lot about your favourite subject. Blogs are the easy way to create a website and start earning money from advertising (like this web site). Try Blogger.com to host your blog for free. If you put Google Adwords advertisements on your blog, Google will pay you every time someone clicks an advert. The busier your blog, the more money you could make.

   If you are a dab hand with a camera you can actually sell your photos online easily through photo collection web sites like www.istockphoto.com

6. Sell music on the internet

   If you are gifted with playing an instrument you can sell your music online through music collection web sites. www.istockphoto.com do this too.

7. Become an ebay seller

   People make a living out of buying and selling on ebay. The successful sellers become a specialist in a niche area where they become experienced in the value of products. They know what they can sell for what price and when and where to go to get their stock.

   Ones man's tat is another man's treasure. Have a good root and once you have enough stuff you can run a car boot sale. Consider selling expensive items in the newspaper classifieds section or even sell it on ebay.

9. Sell your family's and friends junk

   Same as above but get someone elses junk. Some people can't be bothered with car boot sales and will be glad you are saving them a trip to the tip. If you feel embarrased to ask, consisder offering to give them some of your takings. Remember you need to cover the cost of the car boot sale.

    Well not exactly!!! If you have cute kids, have some good portrait photos done and send them to the advertisement agencies. You never know, you may get a booking for your baby to model the next innovation in nappies.

11. Home Shopping Parties

    Find a product you can sell to your friends, family and work colleagues invite them to a party at your home. Popular choices that work well include fair trade products (tradecraft), candles, lingerie, fine foods etc. A few glasses of wine can make for a fun evening. Be prepared to take orders and cash on the evening.

12. Evening work

    Get a second job outside your current work hours. This might not be as bad as it sounds. People who do bar work often enjoy the socialising that comes with the job. A well chosen second job can also be a form of relaxation.

13. Weekend work

    Some businesses need extra staff at weekends. Dont forget you do need rest or you may end up on burn out. The bible recommends having at least one rest day a week.

14. Find a market for your current job skills

    Is there a market for the skills you have in your main job that you could carry out outside your employment? You may need to check the terms and conditions of your employment as you could become a competitior to your employer!

15. Rent out your spare room

    The government have a rent a room scheme - the first £4250 you earn a year is tax free (that's up to £354.15 per month). Anything above that is taxed at highest rate. You must share joint facilities (such as kitchen) and you have to remember that you have a duty of care to your tenant (boiler checks etc).

16. Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles

    You can join a local taxi company to offer your services driving a taxi or private hire vehicle. You would need to obtain a license to do this. 17. Security Doors Supervisors / Bouncers

    This is another popular choice that may well already be saturated in your area. If you know how to handle people who become aggressive and are good at calming down potential frays then this could be for you. Again, you need a license to offer these services.

18. Breeding

    Popular choices are pedigree cats and dogs but most pets are potential money makers. Some research would be needed to decide on which breed to work with. You would need to research the sale prices of puppies/kittens and decide whether to go male or female. Also consider how much it would cost to keep your pet(s).
